Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to support the maintenance of the production facility, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and daily housekeeping to ensure a safe and compliant environment. The role involves floor care, inspections, HVAC and electrical tasks, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards.

A valid driver''s license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in comparable position preferred.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Implement inspections and repairs required by the preventative maintenance program and as requested by EVS Manager and facility staff.
• Check and clean exhaust ventilators, heating and air conditioning units, and respective filters and air handlers.
• Replace light bulbs, hang pictures, and move furniture as required.
• Perform touch up and redecorating tasks, such as patching and painting, as required.
• Conduct regular environmental and maintenance rounds of the building, grounds, and systems to evaluate needs and ensure sanitation, safety and maintenance.
• Accompany EVS Manager and regulatory officials on tours of the building and grounds, and assure compliance with all regulations.
• Adhere to Standard Precautions and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
