Job summary

AFP Management Corp is seeking a maintenance professional to support hotel operations across laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, convention spaces and public areas.

The role requires 2–5 years in maintenance, skills in HVAC, plumbing and electrical, plus carpentry and painting know-how. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are preferred; pool operation certification is a plus. This is a temporary on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in commercial or institutional maintenance preferred.
• HAVC/plumbing/electrical skills required.
• Light carpentry and painting knowledge.
• Pool operation certification preferred.
• Effective communication with public and staff.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Preventive maintenance background preferred.
• No direct health/safety threat to others.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to work order policies and procedures.
• Communicate parts and materials needs to supervisor promptly.
• Inform supervisor on job and project status.
• Maintain and repair equipment in laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, and public areas.
• Repair refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures per specs.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Monitor life safety systems and respond to alerts.
• Perform cosmetic repairs and preventive maintenance in guest areas.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Cross-train as needed.
