Job summary

UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Utility Worker to join our team. As a Team Partner in Maintenance, you will help maintain the building and equipment, perform cleaning, painting, and light maintenance, and assist with loading/unloading and receiving activities.

The role includes on-the-job training and a standard Monday–Friday work week with occasional night/weekend overtime. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, floor scrubbers, and other equipment, performing various upkeep tasks,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant cleaning operations using floor scrubbers and related equipment.
• Paint various areas inside the plant or on facility grounds.
• Operate powered industrial forklifts to relocate materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and with production receiving activities.
• Maintain facilities including landscaping, snow removal, and other removal tasks.
• Perform routine light maintenance tasks and reports after training.
