Job summary

Walmart in Longview, TX is seeking General Maintenance Technicians to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on store equipment to support operations. You will develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete PMs within timelines, while training associates on equipment care and cleaning.

You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, manage work orders, and ensure safety and reliability of facilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Vocational or Technical certification in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules; document expense vouchers, weekly summaries, and maintenance logs.
