Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program, Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located
• Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors; orders parts and tracks purchases.
• Operates heavy machinery and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
• Documents maintenance activities and submits warranty claims.
