Job summary

CM is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform repairs and maintenance on community buildings and grounds, ensuring safe, efficient operation. The role covers lighting, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance, drywall, and related tasks.

You will work day shift with on-call rotations, and may be required on nights or weekends. Candidates must have tools, be reliable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs; EPA/HVAC or plumbing credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand and power tools and equipment used to perform repairs.
• Must be responsible, honest and reliable; attend work regularly.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be practical and stay calm in an emergency.
• Must have good verbal communication skills.
• Must understand safe working practices and health and safety regulations.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must pass Background Check and Drug Test.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for 2 years.
• Must be able to work from ladders up to 40' high.
• 5 years experience in general maintenance or building trades (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Care and upkeep of buildings and grounds for the community.
• Complete minor repairs: lighting, grounds, plumbing, pool, locks, painting, signage.
• Maintain work area and report missing equipment.
• Repair sheetrock and drywall.
• Electrical repairs: change fixtures, ballasts, switches, timers.
• Carpentry skills.
• May perform emergency duties on call at nights/weekends.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Board or Property Manager.
