Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician in Minneapolis, MN. The role offers a direct-hire opportunity with a pay rate of $25.00–$30.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule.

You will troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems to keep facilities operating safely and efficiently. You’ll travel between client sites using a company vehicle, document work with handheld devices and maintenance software, and

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of facilities maintenance or building maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building repair.
• HVAC experience or exposure preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial building systems and equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders in safety and quality compliance.
• Perform plumbing repairs including leaks and fixture replacements.
• Handle electrical maintenance such as switches, outlets, lighting, and ballasts.
• Conduct carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general building upkeep.
• Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Inspect facilities and conduct asset checks for readiness.
• Travel between customer sites using company vehicle and tools.
• Communicate updates and completed repairs to customers.
• Document service work with handheld devices and software.
• Order materials and supplies for assigned tasks.
• Follow OSHA standards and company procedures.
• Provide estimates for larger repair projects as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work environments.
