Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician in South Bend, IN to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across assigned sites. The role requires diagnosing issues, completing service reports, and maintaining equipment and vehicles while ensuring client satisfaction.

The position offers a typical 8 AM–4 PM schedule with occasional weekend or evening work. Candidates should have 2–5+ years in facilities maintenance and a valid driver’s license, with EPA Universal

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, trade certification, or equivalent professional experience in facilities maintenance or related trades.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair services for commercial buildings, equipment, and grounds across an assigned territory.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical fixtures, lighting, drywall, doors, paint, and other facility components.
• Conduct HVAC, asset, and building inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete work orders, service reports, inspections, photos, timesheets, and expense documentation using company-provided technology.
• Maintain a company vehicle, tools, and inventory needed to complete service calls.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate repair status, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Follow all safety policies, compliance requirements, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance services.
