172 West Allis Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform comprehensive maintenance across diverse hospital systems. This role works a standard 40-hour week with some weekend and on-call coverage, ensuring safety and reliability of equipment and facilities.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, 4+ years in equipment maintenance, and proficiency with CMMS and building automation systems, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Certification and/or additional training in a skill/trade/equipment/system that is applicable to the job needs and the specific location.
• Driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and conducts complex troubleshooting on mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, heat exchangers, controls, etc.
• Maintains, repairs, and conducts complex troubleshooting on patient care equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables, etc.
• Troubleshoots mechanical/electrical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, etc. with minimal guidance.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and building occupant requests in a timely and professional manner.
