Job summary

Opti Staffing is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a large manufacturing site in Tualatin, Oregon. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and keeping the facility safe and efficient.

You will repair and upgrade industrial equipment, perform PMs on production and mobile equipment, read blueprints, operate tools, and maintain records. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and access to employee stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on machinery and mobile equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Able to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair, update, or replace industrial equipment and infrastructure as needed.
• Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, operational, and in excellent working condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues throughout the facility.
• Complete repairs on machinery, lighting, plumbing, doors, electrical switches, and other building systems.
• Address a wide variety of facility-related projects, from minor repairs to upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Respond proactively to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Work with production and management to prioritize needs and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records and help identify continuous improvement opportunities.
