Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Beaverton, Oregon, to support plastics manufacturing equipment across extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety, and quick response to issues within a 24/7 facility.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs, with exposure to automation technologies and a strong focus on uptime and reliability in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with post-secondary technical or military training.
• At least 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (plastics preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical safety, troubleshooting, and repair for AC/DC, including 3-phase 480-volt equipment.
• Experience with PLC control systems (Siemens and Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
• Experience with MS Office and CMMS (SAP preferred).
• Familiar with hand tools, machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, DMM, cutting and welding.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays; lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Support plastics processing equipment used in extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding.
• Use drawings and diagnostic tools to identify defects and restore equipment to service.
• Replace components such as drives, motors, pumps, heaters, switches, and HMI panels.
• Work with maintenance parts, contact vendors, and escalate repair issues with possible solutions.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
