Job summary

Sigma Design has partnered with an electronic components manufacturer in Wilsonville, OR to add an experienced Manufacturing Facilities Technician. The role supports site infrastructure, building systems, facilities maintenance, and EHS activities.

This is a hands-on position requiring active participation in preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements, with close collaboration across production, engineering, and support teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of direct facilities experience preferred, contractor role 2–4 years.
• Experience supporting safety and environmental programs (incidents, risk prevention).
• Strong knowledge of facility systems, equipment, maintenance practices, and related tech.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; forklifts/scissor lifts preferred.
• Root-cause troubleshooting and preventative solutions; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility infrastructure and building systems, supporting production and engineering.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in buildings, offices, clean rooms, and warehouses.
• Document work performed and follow company procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors on maintenance, quotes, budgets, and leadership communication.
• Develop procedures to improve functionality, reliability, and efficiency of buildings and equipment.
• Maintain and improve safety, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems.
