Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join the maintenance team in Milwaukie, Oregon. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure manufacturing equipment operates efficiently by maintaining coolant systems, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and lift platforms

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain coolant systems across manufacturing equipment
• Test coolant condition using refractometers and pH meters and take corrective action
• Change and replenish coolant systems, clean tanks, and maintain coolant equipment
• Replace machine filters and service coolant system components, including pumps
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities and TPM events
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production uptime
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
