Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a maintenance technician to support routine inspection, testing and repair of building equipment across client sites in the United States. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety, and reliable operation in office, warehouse and outdoor environments.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of related experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test equipment to ensure standards.
• Plan and schedule maintenance repairs.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems: bulbs, sockets, panels.
• Conduct routine building maintenance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform general maintenance including landscaping, painting, carpentry.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
