Job summary

Medtronic is hiring for an Onsite Facilities Maintenance Technician II in Jacksonville, FL, working third shift (10PM – 6:30AM). The role supports safe, reliable operation of facilities and manufacturing infrastructure, ensuring uptime for life-saving technology.

You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across multiple trades, with emphasis on HVAC systems and facility equipment. Requires 1+ year in Facilities/Maintenance; CMMS and HVAC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Facilities/Maintenance.
• Experience or certification in HVAC preferred.
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
• HVAC experience
• Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment
• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment
• Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding
• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
• Uses hand and power tools.
