Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, masonry and general building trades.
• Refrigeration certification required; other related certifications preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret manuals, blueprints, diagrams, safety labels and gauges.
• Ability to calculate areas, perimeters, volumes, circumferences and other maintenance calculations.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, telecommunications, plumbing, emergency, building security and HVAC systems in district buildings and grounds.
• Provide preventative maintenance to building systems.
• Analyze environmental control problems and recommend solutions.
• Set-up and calibrate ATC systems as required by drawings and specifications.
• Service and repair controls and sensing devices for HVAC and related systems.
• Inspect and repair dampers, ducts and related components.
• Operate and maintain district vehicles and maintenance equipment.
• Perform masonry or carpentry work as needed.
• Respond to assignments from the Director of Physical Plant or Administrators.
