Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support on-site facility operations in the USA. You will perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, inspect and repair building components, and ensure safety compliance across the site.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent with several years of related experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. On-site work may include overtime as needed and potential additional compensation opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
• Skill and knowledge to perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs required.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Good communication and organizational skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; able to lift 1-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on the heating and air conditioning system.
• Perform routine carpentry work in building repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged parts in machines and equipment.
• Operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Ensure all equipment is working and meets standards for recon department.
