Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is seeking an Auto Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. This on-site role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in daily tasks.

You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, maintain maintenance records, and collaborate with vendors as needed to ensure timely, quality workmanship. A valid driver’s license and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of related work experience.
• 3+ years vehicle service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance: oil changes, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush and vehicle inspections.
• Performs various repairs and maintenance per certification levels (OBD II, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension, electrical, etc.).
• Maintains/repairs shop equipment and keeps the work area clean and safe.
• Creates and maintains vehicle history and maintenance records; may up-fit vehicles with equipment.
• Performs advanced diagnostics and coordinates with vendors for parts and repairs.
• Provides roadside assistance as needed.
