Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Manheim, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for on-site buildings, property, and equipment. The role includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks to keep facilities operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma/GED with relevant experience (or a higher degree/certification) and possess a valid driver’s license, strong communication and organization skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years' related experience, or 5 years' related field experience
• Ability to perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift 1–50 pounds
• Compliance with safety rules and safety training as required

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping on site.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems.
• Perform routine carpentry work for building repair and maintenance.
• Replace worn or damaged parts in machines and equipment.
• Operate snow removal equipment for parking lots and sidewalks.
• Ensure equipment and buildings are safe, clean, and compliant with standards.
• Demonstrate safety practices and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
