Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Aurora St Lukes Medical Center to perform facility and equipment maintenance and document work in CMMS. The role supports codes and standards and responds to emergencies.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems and patient care equipment, including motors, pumps, boilers, HVAC, and related controls, with safety as a priority. Full-time, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Basic CMMS usage and familiarity with building automation systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read manuals and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as motors and pumps.
• Maintain patient care equipment such as beds and carts.
• Repair mechanical/electrical systems like HVAC, boilers, and controls.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent repair requests as directed.
