Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support daily facility operations in Michigan. You will perform a range of semi-skilled duties across equipment, the building, grounds and boiler systems, ensuring safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include daily HVAC inspections, plumbing and boiler maintenance, electrical distribution work with vendor coordination, general repairs, grounds upkeep, and safe tool operation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Building Maintenance or 2+ years building maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain a Special boiler's license for campuses utilizing boilers.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record per Benedictine requirements.

Responsibilities

• Make daily inspections and document operating perimeters of major HVAC systems.
• Maintain plumbing systems, water quality, and boiler operation/maintenance.
• Perform electrical distribution work and coordinate with outside vendors for repairs.
• Conduct general building maintenance and inspect patient/resident areas as requested.
• Perform grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal.
• Carry out general facility repairs or arrange external repairs as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
