Job summary

Benedictine Dickinson seeks a Maintenance Technician II to support daily operation and maintenance of the facility, including boilers and HVAC across campus buildings.

You will inspect systems, document perimeters, assist with plumbing, electrical work, and grounds maintenance, coordinating repairs with internal teams and outside vendors as required. A boiler license and a valid driver's license are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Building Maintenance required or a High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of building maintenance experience.
• Possess or have ability to obtain a Special boiler’s license for campuses utilizing boilers.
• Valid Driver’s License as appropriate and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and document operating perimeters of major HVAC systems.
• Maintain operation of plumbing systems and water qualities; document water temperatures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical distribution systems and coordinate repairs with vendors as needed.
• Perform general building maintenance and construction work on interior/exterior surfaces.
• Inspect patient/resident areas and perform grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal.
• Operate hand and power tools and maintenance equipment safely.
