Job summary

Americold is seeking a warehouse maintenance technician to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance across facilities. You will handle doors, dock levelers, roofing, HVAC, sprinklers, and electrical systems, ensuring OSHA compliance.

The role requires attention to safety, accurate record-keeping, and flexibility for shift work including on-call duties. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and adjustments on doors, dock levelers, freezer doors, sprinkler systems, and electrical components per OSHA standards.
• Conduct maintenance on roofing systems, and HVAC systems in offices and break rooms.
• Inspect and test operating equipment to ensure OSHA/compliance.
• Test, maintain and evaluate equipment with voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.
• Maintain tools, machinery, batteries, and chargers in good condition.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Perform routine maintenance on exterior equipment and grounds (snow removal, painting, paving).
• Work flexible shifts, including on-call and security alarm responses.
