Job summary

Americold is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine general maintenance and repairs across the warehouse, including doors, dock levelers, freezer doors, sprinkler systems, roofing, and HVAC.

Under supervision, you will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry, and maintain tools and equipment. A high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years' industrial maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years industrial or facilities maintenance experience or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of various types of equipment in maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and adjustments on doors, dock levelers, sprinkler systems, and electrical components.
• Maintain roofing, HVAC, and office/building systems.
• Inspect and test equipment for OSHA/operational standards.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Handle on-call shifts and respond to alarms as needed.
