Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician I-Helper to join our operations & maintenance team in New Albany, Ohio. The role assists higher level technicians in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on buildings and facilities equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, diagnosing issues in production machinery, maintaining and operating systems, and completing preventive maintenance per CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of facility maintenance experience in relevant environments.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet in aerial lift/scissor lift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facility maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose malfunctions in production machinery and equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot systems and equipment such as overhead doors, pumps, piping, seals and valves.
