Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems in a senior living community. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
EPA refrigerants certification is a plus.
HVAC certification is a plus.
Boiler Operator/Steam Engineer license is a plus.
Three years of maintenance experience required.
Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, generators and electrical/plumbing systems.
Familiarity with building codes, OSHA regulations preferred.
Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel and Internet preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and finishing maintenance.
Maintains HVAC equipment through preventive maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in work areas.
Maintains records and supports surveys and inspections.
Coordinates maintenance activities with other departments as needed.
Back-up to security; conducts rounds and reports as required.
