Job summary

Ohio Living in Philadelphia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC equipment and perform routine repairs to keep facilities safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff.

You will manage work orders, inspect systems, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely maintenance while complying with safety and OSHA guidelines, and be available for on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification to handle refrigerants a plus but not required.
• HVAC certification a plus but not required.
• Current Boiler Operator License and Steam Engineer License a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Inform supervisor of supply and/or equipment needs.
• Complete assigned work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys.
• Escort vendors and assist with inventory; act as working team leader as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance services with Nursing, Culinary and Nutritional Services departments.
• Back-up to security personnel and complete necessary reports.
