Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Andover, MA is seeking a facilities technician to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems in office, manufacturing, and laboratory environments.

You will monitor air handling equipment, chillers, exhaust systems, and controls, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with site leadership to prioritize work across multiple locations while working on-site Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 3+ years of hands-on facility maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of trade school/certification and experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and general mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and office facilities and equipment, with emphasis on HVAC systems.
• Monitors HVAC equipment (air handlers, chillers, exhaust/makeup air systems, RTUs, controls) to maintain temperature, humidity, and airflow requirements.
• Troubleshoots equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor.
• Performs routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance needs.
• Supports facility needs across multiple sites, with on-site, Monday–Friday work.
