TEEMA Solutions Group is hiring a hands-on Facilities Technician to support a major advanced-manufacturing operation in Peoria, AZ. The role focuses on commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing critical mechanical infrastructure as the site transitions from construction to production.
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and related equipment, troubleshoot components, and ensure safe, efficient operations with CMMS documentation.
Join the facilities team supporting a major new advanced-manufacturing operation. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to help commission, maintain, and optimize critical mechanical infrastructure as the site moves from construction into full production.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, scrubbers, air handlers, pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair motors, belts, bearings, valves, actuators, fans, piping, and other mechanical components.
Support plumbing and utility systems, including process cooling water, domestic water, wastewater, drains, valves, and associated piping.
Conduct equipment rounds, performance checks, calibrations, start-ups, and shutdowns.
Monitor and adjust Building Management Systems to maintain temperature, airflow, humidity, and energy efficiency.
Support mechanical-system commissioning, validation, testing, installations, retrofits, and facility shutdowns.
Diagnose failures using drawings, schematics, manuals, test equipment, and system data.
Respond to work orders and emergency calls involving critical system performance.
Maintain accurate equipment histories and maintenance records using CMMS.
Follow LOTO, confined-space, OSHA, and applicable mechanical-safety requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors to improve system reliability.
At least three years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing facility.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, hydronic systems, pumps, compressed air, piping, and mechanical utilities.
Experience working as an operator in a central control room.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Experience with CMMS and Building Management Systems.
Semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, pharmaceutical, data-center, or industrial-facility experience preferred.
EPA Section 608, boiler, chiller, HVAC, or related technical certification is a plus.
The initial schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The role will transition to a compressed 12-hour schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
