Job summary

Ranken Technical College seeks a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to service campus buildings and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general infrastructure tasks on campus.

Ideal candidates have two years of maintenance experience and basic electrical troubleshooting skills, with a valid driver’s license. On-site role with some evening/weekend hours and on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma with technical courses.
Two years of facilities maintenance experience.
Knowledge of electrical systems and preventive maintenance.
Ability to use MS Office and electronic work order systems.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of campus buildings, facilities, equipment, and building systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components within licensed scope.
Assist with electrical installations, renovations, equipment replacements, and facility improvement projects.
Diagnose maintenance issues and complete work safely and efficiently.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
