Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs, inspect installations, and support energy management to keep systems efficient.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (or trade school) with 1–2 years of related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong communication and organizational skills. This is an on-site role within CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred; combination of experience and education considered.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
