The position is full-time on the second shift with multiple bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits. Salary is hourly, with pay steps for longevity and shift premium considerations.

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work second shift, weekends, holidays, shutdowns and overtime.
• Quality oriented; understand how tasks affect quality.
• Perform duties safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Apprenticeship program is 2 years to become technician level.

Responsibilities

• Perform bi-weekly inspections on all presses and report findings in PLEX inspection report.
• Perform monthly inspections on all presses and report findings in PLEX inspection report.
• Perform monthly inspections on all scrap conveyors and report findings in PLEX inspection report.
• Support shutdown activities.
• Verify spare parts are on hand; add items not controlled by MRO as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance activities, including basic wiring.
