Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of technicians responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems and grounds at the general office campus.

You will schedule work, mentor staff, manage inspections of elevators, fire safety equipment, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies, while coordinating with vendors and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 years building maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
• OSHA familiarity and local building/fire codes.
• Ability to operate power tools.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Strong time management and leadership skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, climb ladders.
• Able to work flexible hours and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
• Prepare schedules and assign duties.
• Oversee maintenance tasks across building systems, grounds, and vendors.
• Ensure tasks completed timely and with proper tools.
• Maintain time records and evaluate performance.
• Ensure inspections of elevators, sprinklers, and fire alarms are compliant.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform repairs as needed to supplement staff.
