FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead district maintenance operations, supervise Facility Maintenance Technicians, and drive preventive and corrective programs to keep facilities safe and compliant.

You will coordinate work orders, manage vendors, and optimize costs while ensuring uninterrupted operations. The role requires building systems knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), strong leadership, and the ability to develop a skilled workforce.

Competenze

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
Experience managing maintenance vendors, service contracts, and facility-related projects preferred.
Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors, dock equipment, and general facility infrastructure preferred.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and employee development skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems.
Valid driver's license required.

Mansioni

Lead and develop Facility Maintenance Technicians (FMTs), fostering safety and accountability.
Oversee district maintenance operations and timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance.
Monitor performance metrics such as aging work orders, response times, backlog, and service quality.
Partner with Operations leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and support uninterrupted operations.
Manage vendor performance and relationships to meet service standards and control costs.
Control maintenance spends through cost analysis, resource optimization, and vendor management.
Coordinate daily operations, including workload prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Oversee administrative tasks such as payroll, timekeeping, work orders, reporting, inventory, and system compliance.
Facilitate team communication to review performance, reinforce safety, and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all laws/regulations and company policies.
