Job summary

Walmart is looking for a facilities operations leader in Huntsville, AL to direct HVAC, electrical, refrigeration and critical power maintenance across our sites. You will evaluate needs, plan preventive programs, set standards, and ensure reliable system performance while controlling costs.

You will drive sustainability and EPA compliance initiatives, oversee complex projects, manage budgets and schedules, supervise field teams, and collaborate with vendors to deliver safe, efficient operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance and service operations for HVAC, electrical, and critical power across facilities.
• Oversees sustainability initiatives to meet EPA compliance programs and resolves vendor/contractor issues.
• Manages complex projects, budgets, and schedules; approves contracts and invoices.
• Directs regional field operations, tracks maintenance performance, and ensures cost control.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; develops SOPs and PM programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire
