Job summary

Orlando Senior Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of the building and equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with state and federal standards.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, manage supplies and deliveries, and report issues to the Director of Environmental Services to keep the facility safe and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the maintenance of the facility building and equipment.
• Keeps the Director of Environmental Services informed of all problems.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs required to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
• Maintains and/or repairs plumbing, heating and air conditioning, refrigerators, washers and dryers, emergency power generators, other mechanical/electrical equipment, carpentry, furniture, equipment, and routine concrete and masonry repairs.
• Orders supplies and signs delivery slips; unloads delivery trucks when needed.
• Keeps work area neat and practices safe work techniques.
• In absence of director, assumes administrative authority and responsibility of directing maintenance staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
