Orlando Senior Health is seeking a security professional to guard residents, staff, and property, ensuring safety and order throughout the facility.

You will patrol buildings and grounds, monitor entry points, respond to alarms and emergencies, assist at the front desk and during fire drills, and document incidents with logs and reports, all while maintaining residents' rights and confidentiality and delivering courteous service.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Florida Class D license or obtain within 90 days.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move during shift.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress.
• Able to relate to ill, disabled and elderly residents.
• Willing to work weekends and beyond normal hours.
• Able to work with residents, staff and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Periodically patrols buildings and grounds; complete two patrols per shift.
• Inspect doors to ensure security.
• Warn violators and escort as needed.
• Watch for hazards and report safety violations.
• Respond to alarms and summon police or fire department when needed.
• Provide escorts for residents, employees and guests and complete logs/reports.
• Assist at Front Desk and with Fire Drills; assist with 911 calls.
• Assist residents and staff with mobility and daily tasks as required.
• Handle maintenance requests after hours and perform related duties.
• Inspect fire extinguishers and fire alarm systems; reset panels as needed.
• Assist with parking, visitor guidance, and tours.
• Test emergency systems and perform other duties as assigned.
