Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a qualified supervisor to lead a construction/ renovation team and work alongside colleagues in building, maintaining and renovating Navy facilities across the region.

The role involves project planning, cost estimation, material procurement, and ensuring adherence to codes and standards. Expect travel up to 50% to support work at multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory experience is required.
• Certificate or license in at least one major trade is strongly preferred, may be substituted by 2 years general trades experience with 1 year specialized training.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications; read and follow blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction, renovation, maintenance and repair of facilities across 200+ buildings.
• Manage workforce, assign crews including electricians, carpenters, plumbers, HVAC, laborers.
• Prepare cost and time estimates, procure materials and equipment; manage up to $200,000 in equipment and $150,000 in building materials annually.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and all applicable codes; coordinate with N94 Facilities Director.
