Job summary

Breaking Ground is seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor, Programs to oversee daily building operations at The Andrews and related housing sites in New York City. You will supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and code compliance across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certification.
• Minimum 3 years in building trades or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Maintenance Connection or CMMS required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and drywall.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day building functions and supervise staff.
• Coordinate, dispatch, and verify work performed via work order system.
• Oversee inspections and unit-turnover processes.
• Assist with annual building-wide inspections conducted by agencies.
• Address tenant maintenance concerns and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
