Job summary

UniFirst in Warrendale, PA is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to keep facility equipment running and to identify opportunities to improve processes, maintenance practices and training for staff. This hands-on leadership role oversees all maintenance operations and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, manage preventive maintenance, read blueprints, troubleshoot PLCs, and coordinate budget and parts purchasing with leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Manage and assign maintenance tasks across shifts.
• Oversee regulatory and environmental compliance in maintenance.
• Train and develop maintenance staff.
