The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize workloads while implementing preventive maintenance programs and managing budget considerations.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented maintenance supervisor

• Ability to lead and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors

• Knowledge of administrative tasks and budgeting would help

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance staff and outside contractors on repairs and renovations
• Schedules maintenance work and coordinates with Community Manager
• Obtains bids and analyzes bids for maintenance projects
• Ensures life-safety hazards are corrected and safety meetings are conducted
• Administers preventative maintenance programs and tracks expenditures
• Participates in after-hours and emergency response
• Promotes a positive work environment and staff morale
