Job summary

Estates Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant with all regulations.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets and supplies, and oversee contractors to keep HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators running reliably for resident care.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boiler, water systems and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
• Train Staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures.
• Coordinate Schedules: plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
