Job summary

Peach Tree Place is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
• Understanding of HVAC, boiler, water systems and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct fire system inspections and monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, service HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, generators.
• Manage supplies and budget: order materials within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: coordinate external contractor work.
• Maintain standards: ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff: provide job-specific safety training.
• Coordinate schedules: plan staffing to meet census and budget goals.
