Job summary

Peachtreenursing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a healthcare facility. You will oversee maintenance operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and implement a preventive maintenance program across HVAC, water, and related systems.

The role requires strong leadership, multitasking ability, and experience with facility upkeep in healthcare or long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
• Can manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations by hiring, training, and supervising the team.
• Promote safety and compliance through fire system inspections and drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program development and implementation.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget while adhering to guidelines.
• Coordinate external contractors and supervise their work.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance of facility and equipment.
• Provide staff training and enforce safety procedures.
• Plan staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
