Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at a FedEx Freight location, with Windsor Locks, CT among the eligible sites. You will supervise a team of maintenance technicians responsible for building systems and grounds on the campus.

You will mentor staff, prepare work schedules, coordinate vendors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and verify that repairs and routine maintenance are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus two (2) years’ experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with/knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing, carpentry.
• Familiarity with OSHA, building and fire codes and hazardous materials regulations.
• Ability to operate power tools and basic maintenance equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Select, mentor, develop and motivate a team of employees.
• Prepare work schedules and assign repair and maintenance duties.
• Oversee maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems.
• Ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
