Job summary

This role requires strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety procedures, plus the ability to supervise and coordinate preventive maintenance across sites.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 4 years in building/maintenance
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, masonry, painting, and electrical work
• Ability to supervise staff and manage work orders and inventories

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings by performing carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical, welding, wiring, and plumbing tasks.
• Lubricates and inspects pumps, motors, gauges, valves, and air conditioning equipment.
• Builds/installs partitions and safety features; lifts heavy parts as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Prepares layouts and reports on completed work orders.
• Uses hand/power tools to repair electrical fixtures and building components.
• Maintains supplies and inventories; moves/repairs office furniture as required.
• May travel between Education Centers as needed.
