Job summary

Opportunity Home San Antonio is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II to plan, organize, and supervise daily maintenance operations for housing properties, sites, and equipment in the San Antonio area.

Under the Sr Community Manager, the role will develop maintenance budgets, implement procedures, train staff, oversee safety, and coordinate with divisions to keep properties well maintained and compliant.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressively responsible maintenance experience in housing, or related field
• Two years in a maintenance supervisory role
• Ability to learn and use cloud applications (Google G Suite, Office 365) and collaborate in the cloud
• Successful completion of background check, education, and work history verification, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance staff performing structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs.
• Inspects work, enforces safety codes and quality standards.
• Develops and administers maintenance budgets and procurement.
• Schedules work and coordinates with other departments to maintain grounds and facilities.
• Responds to emergencies and implements preventive maintenance programs.
