Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Full proficiency in maintenance and repair activities.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety standards and building codes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Address safety and waste management system issues as required.
• Complete basic facilities maintenance tasks, such as painting, drywall repair, carpentry and fixture installations.
• Assist with facility projects and coordinate facility improvements.
• Log and track maintenance activities using a work order system.
• Maintain professional communication with residents and respond to maintenance requests via the work order system.
