Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking an After Hours Security & Maintenance Specialist in Spokane, WA. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service while monitoring the safety and security of the building and residents after hours.

The position involves cleaning lobbies and common areas and performing light maintenance duties, with opportunities to support snow removal and de-icing. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check are

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; time management; interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills; teamwork.
• Certificates/Licenses: Valid Driver’s License; background check as applicable.
• Physical Abilities: able to sit/stand/walk/listen; lift up to 30 lbs; ability to see and focus.
• Mental & Other Skills/Abilities: adaptability, analytical ability, attendance, communication, customer service, judgment, problem solving, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the front security desk after hours.
• Monitor access to the building and cameras.
• Document lease violations and review footage.
• Respond to emergencies and call 911 as needed.
• Maintain safety by noting obstructions and lighting issues.
• Assist with maintenance and snow removal as assigned.
• Communicate safety incidents to CAReS staff.
• Follow agency policies and protect PHI under HIPAA.
