Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) in Rock Island, IL is seeking a strong maintenance supervisor to coordinate and supervise maintenance associates and tasks on facilities and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety regulations.

You will oversee building repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing), maintain preventive programs, supervise technicians, coordinate external contractors, and support day-to-day warehouse operations while maintaining accurate work-order records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 2-4 years experience
• One or more years of experience in each of the trades (i.e., carpentry electrical and plumbing), two or more years of experience working on commercial heating and air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Oversees and maintains warehouse and facility maintenance.
• Coordinates outside building contractors.
• Keeps accurate records/files of work orders for preventative maintenance and monitors ammonia cooling systems.
• Oversees building sanitation.
• Will assist in running day shift warehouse operations.
• Warehouse damaged goods champion.
• Play a key role in external audits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
